Located North side of river. The map below shows the East Bank of Jefferson Parish and includes Metairie, Kenner, River Ridge, Harahan, and Jefferson (ie. Old Jefferson) This is MLS areas 1 thru 27. All of these areas on the eastbank of Jefferson Parish are located west of New Orleans and east of the the airport in Kenner (Area 01 Airline Dr), and also between Lake Pontchartrain and the Mississippii River on the North and South. All of these cities are excellent choices if you wish to live in the suburbs outside of New Orleans city limits. All are within 10 to 30 minutes of New Orleans downtown area. Although this area is known as the "Eastbank" of Jefferson Parish, it is actually on the north side of the Mississippi River! Welcome to N'awlins y'all :)
